You don’t have to have it figured out to book the call.

Most people put this off for months and then say the first fifteen minutes were easier than they expected. That call is free, it is a conversation rather than an assessment, and nothing is decided on it.

Everything you say is confidential. Nothing goes to an insurer unless you ask it to.
01 / What I help with

Most people arrive with a sentence, not a diagnosis.

If one of these sounds close, that is enough to start with. Each one has its own page explaining what the work usually looks like.

“I can’t switch my head off at night.”
Anxiety & overthinking
“I got everything I wanted and I feel nothing.”
Depression & low mood
“Something happened and I still flinch.”
Trauma & PTSD · [EMDR]
“We keep having the same argument.”
Couples & relationships
“I don’t know who I am outside of work.”
Identity & life transitions
“My son stopped talking to us.”
Teens & families
[Add one line per specialty the clinician actually treats. Their words, not clinical language.]
[Specialty]

Each line above becomes its own page. Those pages are what someone finds when they search at eleven at night, and they are how a practice stops depending on a directory listing for every new client.

What actually happens after you click

02 / How it works
First
A short call

[15] minutes on the phone. You say a little about what is going on, I say how I would usually work with it, and you decide whether to book a first session. No intake forms yet.

Then
A first session

[50] minutes. Mostly you talking and me asking questions. You will not be asked to relive anything you are not ready to, and you can stop at any point.

After
We agree a rhythm

Usually weekly at first, then less often. How long this takes depends on you and on what you brought, and I would rather say that than quote a number.

Build note, not page copy. Every form on this site has to be HIPAA-compliant. A stock website form is not, and neither is a general purpose form builder. Use the intake tool inside the practice management platform [SimplePractice / TherapyNotes / Jane], and confirm a signed BAA before any automation touches a client message.
03 / Fees

The number is on the page, because you were going to ask anyway.

This is a private-pay practice. That is a choice rather than a limitation: no diagnosis is submitted to an insurer, no third party decides how many sessions you get, and what we talk about stays between us. A superbill is available if you want to claim out of network.

[Sliding scale: X spots currently open.] If cost is the reason you have not called, say so on the free call.

04 / About me

I am not going to nod and say “and how does that make you feel.”

[Write this in first person. Why they became a therapist, how they actually work in the room, and one specific thing a client would notice in the first session. This is the highest converting page on a therapy site after the homepage, and it is the one place a generic bio costs real money.]

The specialty index, in the client’s own words

Most people arrive with a sentence, not a diagnosis. "I can’t switch my head off at night" is what somebody actually thinks; "generalised anxiety disorder" is what a directory listing says. This index puts the sentence large and the clinical name small beside it, and each line becomes its own page — which is what breaks a practice’s dependence on a directory for every new client. The restraint elsewhere on the page is part of the same argument. There is one nine-second ambient shape and nothing else, because a therapy site that animates like a SaaS product reads wrong to the person who needs it. That is a design decision about the reader’s state, not a performance budget.

Who this suits

  • Solo clinicians and small private-pay practices
  • Anyone willing to write their specialty lines in their own voice rather than in clinical language
  • Practices publishing their fees, which most do not and which filters the enquiry list usefully
  • Clinicians who want to stop paying a directory for every new client

Who it does not

  • Group practices with many clinicians — this page is built around one person and one voice
  • Insurance-panel-heavy practices where fees are not the clinician’s to publish
  • Anyone who wants the site to feel energetic. The low motion budget is the direction, not a limitation

What you need to bring

Seven specialty lines in your own words
Written by or with the clinician. Generic condition names in this slot collapse the entire premise of the page.
Your published fees
Individual, couples, and whether the first call is free. The number goes on the page because the reader was going to ask anyway.
Your Florida licence, and any others
Telehealth is limited to states where you hold a licence. Do not imply interstate availability without confirming licensure in each state named.
Your practice management platform
Every form here must be HIPAA-compliant. A stock website form is not, and neither is a general-purpose form builder — use the intake tool inside SimplePractice, TherapyNotes or Jane, and confirm a signed BAA before any automation touches a client message.
A first-person bio
Why you became a therapist, how you actually work in the room, and one specific thing a client would notice in the first session. After the homepage this is the highest-converting page on a therapy site.

Cost and timeline

Four to five weeks. Fewest moving parts in the programme; the schedule turns almost entirely on how long the specialty lines and the bio take to write, and those should not be rushed.

Pricing is set on the call. What it costs depends on how much of the list above you already have, and we would rather quote the actual job than publish a number that is wrong for you.

[Clinician name], LMHC is not a client and does not exist. Every phone number, license number, price, rating and review count on this page is shown in brackets because it is a placeholder, not a fact. Nothing here is a working form, phone link or booking widget.
